Mission, Values, and Responsibilities
The United As One Gaming Community is hereby founded upon the following principles:
Mission

It is our mission to encourage and facilitate a fun and stress-free gaming atmosphere for PC gamers of all kinds.
Values

Although nearly everything is up for change, these are things that will not be changed.

1. This community is a representative democracy. Most decisions will be open for discussion amongst all registered website members. The particularly sensitive decisions will be made by the administrators after carefully evaluating the opinions of the members.

2. As a democracy, everyone (registered or not; admin or not) has a crucial voice. The members shape the community to their likings.

3. Forum and voice chat activity are crucial in the networking of the community. We currently use Teamspeak. Registration to the website and Teamspeak is required for every clan member in every division.

4. All members and administrators are to be treated respectfully. This is crucial to our mission of providing a fun and stress-free environment. Problems will come up, and it is everyone’s responsibility to mitigate these issues in a swift and gentle manner.

5. Cheating, glitching, exploiting, or any form of gameplay not allowed by a game's dev team and/or user agreement is strictly forbidden. The administration may decide that certain actions not moderated by the dev team and/or user agreement are still not allowed.
Administrative Responsibilities

These are the responsibilities of each and every administrator.

1. Administrators are to uphold the mission and values first and foremost in all situations.

2. Administrators are to be active in Teamspeak and the website on a daily basis. Life happens sometimes, but any extended absence must be reported with due notice.

3. If administrators are playing games on their PC, they should be in Teamspeak and in active channels.

Owner
1. Owners are ultimately responsible for everything. No problem is beyond presenting directly to an owner.
2. Owners are responsible for the training of administrators.
3. A unique point to be made: An owner's word or decision is NOT always final. As an open-minded community, all decisions are up for discussion and reversal.

Division Leader
1. Division leaders are first and foremost responsible for all aspects of their division. Specifically activity, recruiting, forum monitoring, and moderation of disputes.
2. Division leaders in general should play their game, check the forums, and maintain a presence in Teamspeak on a daily basis. Extended periods of inactivity are excusable if reasonable notice is given.
3. Division leaders are responsible for determining in-game rules for their members as long as the policies do not go against our community's mission and values.
4. Division leaders are responsible for choosing their assistant division leaders pending owner approval.

Assistant Division Leader
1. In the case of a division leader's extended absence, the assistant division leader will take on the responsibilities of the division leader. Any serious policy changes must be run by the owners before implementation.
2. Assistant division leaders should be in constant communication with the division leader. Assistants are encouraged to work with the division leaders to promote our mission and values.

Teamspeak Administrator
1. Teamspeak administrators are obviously responsible for... wait for it... the administration of Teamspeak. This includes, but is not limited to: settling disputes and being active and available.

Forum Administrator
1. Forum administrators are responsible for all aspects of the website for which they have rights. This includes, but is not limited to: the assignment of user classes, welcoming of new members, and moderation of forum language and content.
